Greetings and salutations, neighbors of Elko, Nevada! This week, we’re sitting down with Ashlyn Greener, the executive director of the Family Resource Center, here in Elko County. This was a conversation that I (Anthony) was looking forward to because I knew I would learn a lot about the needs of the families living in our community.
As both the director of the FRC and a lifelong Elko native, Ashlyn provided a unique looking into where many of our local families are at when it comes to their day-to-day living. It was interesting to learn about some of the unique challenges our local families are facing and how the FRC and other local services are stepping up to help.
